These terms are an agreement between you and Edacity Ltd, trading as Laugh Therapy (“we”, “us”), covering your use of laughtherapy.lol and our services. Edacity Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 09380627, registered office 76 Arden Way, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7DD.

Services

We provide wellbeing training, workshops, webinars, talks, creative health events, coaching, digital resources (including the Levity Library) and practitioner training. Sessions are educational and wellbeing-focused; they are not medical or psychological treatment and do not replace professional care. If you have a health concern, speak to your GP or an appropriate professional.

Bookings, payment and cancellation

Quotes are provided per booking. Payment terms are confirmed on the booking invoice.
Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: full refund.
Cancellations 7 to 14 days before: 50% refund.
Cancellations under 7 days before: no refund.
If we must cancel, you receive a full refund or a reschedule, your choice.

Digital subscriptions (the Levity Library) are billed through Lemon Squeezy with a 14-day free trial and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Course enrolments have their terms stated at checkout.

Intellectual property

Site content, session materials, the Integrative Levity Praxis (ILP) methodology, and Levity Library resources are owned by or licensed to Edacity Ltd and are provided for your personal or organisational use, not for resale or redistribution. ILP certification licences are governed by their own programme terms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking. Sessions involve gentle physical activity such as movement and laughter; tell us in advance about any needs or conditions so we can adapt.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales.

Who we are

What we collect and why

Enquiries and bookings: name, organisation, contact details and your message, used to answer you and deliver the service (legitimate interests / contract).
Marketing and free resources: your email and preferences when you request a guide, complete a survey or join a list, used to send what you asked for (consent; unsubscribe any time).
Purchases and subscriptions: payment is handled by our payment processors; we never see or store full card details.
Coaching clients: with your explicit consent, sessions may be recorded, transcribed and summarised to support the work. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

Trusted processors only, under contract, and only what each needs: Google Workspace (email, documents, meetings), Brevo (email marketing and automation), Lemon Squeezy (Levity Library checkout, as merchant of record), Stripe (course and session payments), Calendly (scheduling), Make (automation between these systems), Web3Forms (the ILP interest form), and, for coaching with consent, Fathom (session notes) and Anthropic’s Claude (session summaries). Neither Fathom nor Anthropic trains AI models on this data under our settings and agreements. Where processors are US-based, transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention and your rights

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose collected, or as law requires (for example, tax records). You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing, by emailing contact@laughtherapy.lol. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Children

We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 18 through this website. Work delivered in schools is arranged through, and safeguarded by, the school.
